It was many years ago that a certain event had forever change the life at the royal court of the small costal kingdom of Ielara. The cause for such change might have seemed small to may of the ones that later heard the story, but for the ones that were cut in the swirl of the events it was not so. The cause for this hurricane of change lay in one individual who made its way to King Aren’s court one summer. His name was Lord Bidden and his passing was not soon forgotten.

Many stories travel nowadays telling of young Lord Bidden’s arrival and entry into the capital town, until then blessed with not making his acquaintance. Some speak of mobs of disgruntled neighbors and commoners that soon came right down his path as if he had led their charge. Others speak of him valiantly fighting his way to the capital in order to serve the King to the best extent of his abilities. Those who do not join either one of these sides know a more different telling of the story. And this is how it begins…
